Where the money went, and what a sales book can honestly tell you

At closing time most shopkeepers ask three questions in the same breath. How much came in. How much is still owed. What actually moved off the shelf.

BillMadi answers all three. It is holding every bill you finished. Open My Shop and the day is already added up. You see the total. You see the hour with the most rush. You see what sold the most. Cash and UPI are two numbers, not one guess.

Credit is kept apart on purpose. When a regular takes goods now and pays on Friday, you tap Credit instead of Paid. The sale still counts today, because the goods left today. The money shows up under Credit as still to collect, with a name against it, until the day it comes in.

Here is what it does not do, said plainly: BillMadi does not record what you spend. There is no place to enter what you paid your supplier, your rent or your electricity bill. It keeps the money coming in, not the money going out.

Know this before you start. It changes what the day total is for. It is the one true number to write in your own book, or to give your accountant. And you no longer add it up by hand at eleven at night.
